Patrick Kreiser, the Rile Chair of Entrepreneurship and Leadership in the College of Business, comes to The University of Wyoming from Iowa State University, where he most recently served as the Bob and Kay Smith Faculty Fellow in Entrepreneurship. He earned a doctorate and an MBA from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University. His past appointments include serving as the Robert H. Freeman Professor of Entrepreneurship and director of academic programs and research at Ohio University, and visiting scholar of entrepreneurship at Indiana University.
Kreiser’s research has been published in leading entrepreneurship journals, and he currently serves on the boards of Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
Based in the College of Business’s Department of Management and Marketing, Kreiser chairs the task force revamping the entrepreneurship curriculum at UW.
